At first I thought it was the moon in half phase but it was to perfectly crescent shaped. It then got much smaller but what was actually happening was that it was flying away is such perfect trajectory, that it got smaller untill it disappeared.
It was the county forest preserve outside Peshtigo, Wisconsin.It consisted of 4 trail/tracks that changed from year to year. It was the Cook County Forest Preserve.
